Our 18MHZ radio converter (or band expander) allows a Japanese specification radio to broadcast UK radio stations.    It is easily installed into the aerial lead at the back of the radio and is a cost effective way to convert the system.    It will not convert the display on the radio but will step down the UK broadcast frequency by 18MHZ, i.e. 99.5 fm will be displayed as 81.5fm.   This then allows reception between 94 and 108 fm.
